Life Ownership Program

At Sharp Circle, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) who are incarcerated and preparing for reentry. Our Life Ownership Program stands out as a high-quality initiative, meticulously designed to cater to the unique needs of each youth. Through a combination of group mentorship, one-to-one sessions, and community mentors, we provide opportunities that align with the youth's personal goals and aspirations.

Our program is more than just mentorship; it is an immersive journey of self-discovery and accountability. Youth participants learn to transform their perspectives, understand the impact of their actions, and articulate a detailed plan for a successful reentry into society. By fostering deep accountability and personal growth, we empower our mentees to see themselves and the world around them in a new light.

Operating in San Francisco and Monterey Counties, the Life Ownership Program is already changing lives and shaping futures. Through a supportive and confidential environment, we encourage mentees to be brave in their expressions and receptive to pivotal concepts. Our program's structure includes:

• Group Mentorship Sessions: Fostering a community of mutual expectation and encouragement.
• One-to-One Mentorship: Tailored guidance to uncover and achieve personal goals in various aspects of life.
• Community Mentors: Providing real-world opportunities and insights aligned with each youth's ambitions.

By the end of the program, participants demonstrate significant personal growth through goal-achievement milestones, surveys, and the creation of a comprehensive Life Ownership Packet. This packet includes remorse and impact statements, a relapse prevention plan, and a detailed behavioral inventory.
